I know the fear and helplessness you're feeling—but I'm here to show you there's so much more you can do to help your child thrive. From one cancer parent to another: I'm here to show you your child can do more than just survive treatment.
I'm Season Johnson
Support the child, not just cancer.
When Kicker was diagnosed with cancer, conventional treatment was necessary—but I also wanted to understand what I could do to support his body through it.
In this special episode, I’m sharing my presentation from The Beljanski Integrative Cancer Conference, where I spoke about the integrative approach that grew out of our family’s experience and now shapes how I support other families navigating pediatric cancer.
The presentation centers around three areas: nutrition, detox and drainage, and environment. I explain how I think about nourishing children during treatment, supporting their microbiome, keeping foundational drainage pathways functioning, and paying attention to their emotional environment.
I also share stories from families I’ve worked with and why I believe pediatric cancer care can benefit from greater communication between conventional medicine and thoughtful, individualized integrative support.
This isn’t about replacing conventional treatment or following someone else’s protocol. It’s about asking what else we can responsibly do to support the child who is going through it.
